SouthBridge EMS, an ambulance service covering Bridgeville, South Fayette and Cecil is not going out of business, Southbridge representative Dan Miller told Bridgeville borough council at its meeting tonight.

"I want to address a vicious rumor that is going around. We are absolutely not going out of business," Mr. Miller said.

While he made no mention of how he believed the rumor started, he said, "We are fully staffed to respond to emergencies in the borough."

Borough council president Nino Petrocelli Sr. thanked Mr. Miller for clearing up the issue.
