A landslide that closed Noblestown Road in both directions between Obey Street in Crafton Heights and Weaver Street in Elliott has worsened and will take weeks to repair, Pittsburgh Public Works Director Rob Kaczorowski said today.

The slide occurred Nov. 4.

"Unfortunately this area continues to slide and covers a vast area ... street closure will remain in effect for an undetermined time ... best measurement would be in weeks," Mr. Kaczorowski said in an email. "Our goal is to have it opened ASAP."
