Robert Morris University announced plans Thursday to replace the section of its Sports and Golf Dome damaged when the dome collapsed in a storm last Friday.

The dome, on Neville Island, will reopen in three to four weeks, according to Robert Jessome, owner of Worldwide Air Structure Assistance, which is handling the repairs. Events are being rescheduled on a case-by-case basis until the dome reopens.

Insurance is expected to cover the cost of the repairs, university spokesman Jonathan Potts said. He did not disclose the cost.

The dome collapsed when a microburst of air hit it. There were no injuries.
