Police seek man after shots fired in McKees Rocks

Police are looking for a man who fired shots at one man and pistol-whipped two others in McKees Rocks late Sunday.
The incident began just before midnight at 910 Island Ave., when officers responded to reports of shots fired.
Police said the suspect argued with a 21-year-old man in the house, then fired shots at him but missed. The same suspect then pistol-whipped a 22-year-old man and his 41-year-old father who became involved in the dispute.
The nature of the argument wasn't clear.
Police initially called the Allegheny County SWAT team for help at about 12:30 a.m. when they believed the suspect had barricaded himself inside the house, but canceled the call when it turned out the man wasn't inside and had fled earlier.
Police plan to charge the suspect with aggravated assault and attempted homicide.
