Pedestrian hit by car expected to recover

A man who was struck by a car this morning in Carrick is expected to recover.
An emergency dispatch supervisor said the accident happened at 2:15 a.m. at the intersection of Maytide Street and Brownsville Road.
The victim's leg was hurt.
The driver of the car was being questioned by police.
No other information was immediately available.
