Officials have confirmed the identity of a woman whose "mummified" remains were found inside a McKees Rocks home last week.

Vetta Bryant, 81, died of cardiovascular disease or a form of hypertension, an autopsy performed by the Allegheny County medical examiner's office revealed.

Ms. Bryant was found dead inside her home on Clay Alley Thursday afternoon. She lived there with a daughter who has developmental disabilities and who told police she thought her mother was OK.
