Oakdale council voted 5-0 tonight to table approval of the 2013 budget until 7 p.m. Dec. 27 in the community center, 104 Seminary Ave.

Council won't finalize the spending plan or tax millage rate until after Allegheny County provides revised assessment values, probably on Dec. 20, finance chairman Mark Maximovich said.

Borough attorney Vince Tucceri said Oakdale does not plan to increase property taxes and may have to adjust the millage rate to avoid an undue windfall in tax revenue.
