North Fayette promotes police officers

North Fayette supervisors voted 3-0 tonight to promote several police officers, following the Jan. 1 promotion of Mark O'Donnell from sergeant to chief.

Effective Jan. 27, corporals David Sandora and Michael Hayes will become sergeants, and senior patrolmen Todd Huefelder and Harold Pollinger will become corporals.

Officials planned to fill the two patrol officer vacancies next month.

The board also hired Brian Kisling as a part-time patrolman, effective immediately.
