Marijuana grow operation found in Big Beaver home, police say

A man who operated a marijuana grow operation in his Big Beaver home was arrested today, state police said.

Troopers seized about 5 pounds of processed marijuana, 61 live marijuana plants and a 12-gauge shotgun from the Eaglerock Road home of Kenneth Lee Vernon, 47, state police said.

He was charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia, and was being lodged in the Beaver County Jail awaiting arraignment.
