Man struck by car in Aliquippa dies

A man struck by a vehicle in Aliquippa on Thursday has died.

James Hunter, 48, was pronounced dead in Allegheny General Hospital's trauma intensive care unit shortly before 10 p.m. on Thursday, according to the Allegheny County medical examiner's office.

He was struck by a car on Woodlawn Road in Aliquippa shortly before 7 a.m. on Thursday. Aliquippa police are investigating.
