Man shot in McKees Rocks

Police are investigating after a man was shot in McKees Rocks tonight.
The shooting happened shortly after 8 p.m. near the intersection of Amelia Street and Chartiers Avenue.
Witnesses said they heard anywhere from six to 12 shots fired and then watched as someone pulled a man from a car with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head.
Medics placed the man in an ambulance and took him to a local hospital.
Police at the scene have so far declined to comment tonight.
Allegheny County police are aiding McKees Rocks police with the investigation.
