Man dies after being thrown from SUV in Beaver County

A Beaver County man died Sunday night in a traffic accident in Hanover.
Lawrence William Daniel Schulz, 30, of Georgetown, was driving about 8:20 p.m. on Route 30 near Powell Road when he failed to make a left bend and went off the right side of the road, state police in Beaver said. His SUV struck an embankment and went airborne, hitting two trees before coming to rest about 14 feet from the road.
Mr. Schulz, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown out of the SUV and died at the scene. Police said he was the only person in the vehicle.
