A Kennedy man pleaded guilty today to stabbing two people during a burglary a year and a half ago.
Joseph Manna, 29, broke into an apartment in Stowe, stabbed a man and woman and stole a pick-up truck on Jan. 15, 2011.
In a statement the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office said "a subsequent investigation revealed that the stabbings were an effort by Manna to eliminate any witnesses to the fact that Manna had stolen a computer from the same apartment one day earlier."
Today Manna pleaded guilty to burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, theft by unlawful taking, robbery of a motor vehicle and two counts of aggravated assault.
He also pleaded guilty to two counts of recklessly endangering another person stemming from an incident where he used the stolen pick-up to run two drivers off the road, according to the district attorney's statement.
Manna was sentenced to 6 to 12 years in prison.
