Greentree Road in Scott closing next 4 weekends

Construction on Greentree Road in Scott will cause lane closures tonight and Thursday night, followed by four consecutive weekends when the road will be closed near Route 50, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.

Overnight restrictions will be in place between the bridge over Chartiers Creek and the railroad crossing and Old Washington Pike starting at 8 p.m. tonight and Thursday. The area, including access from Old Washington Pike, will be completely closed from 8 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday and again on the following three weekends, with the last one scheduled Nov. 9-12. Detours will be posted.
