Gas odor prompts evacuation of McKees Rocks school

A McKees Rocks alternative school was evacuated this morning because of an odor of natural gas.

The odor was reported near the Allegheny Intermediate Unit's Community School West on May Avenue about 8:20 a.m., McKees Rocks police Chief Robert Cifrulak said.
