Area residents with questions about how to shop for a more affordable electricity supplier can find answers at an event this afternoon in Robinson.

The state Public Utility Commission will have staffers available at The Mall at Robinson to explain how the electric shopping process works.

Consumers should bring a copy of their latest electric bill with them. A bank of computers will be set up for those interested in signing up for new electricity supplier on the spot.

The event runs from noon to 6 p.m.
