A Coraopolis man surrendered this morning on charges that he stole $200,000 from his daughter's trust fund.

Mark Piccolo, 53, is awaiting arraignment on charges of theft and forgery.

Detectives with the Allegheny County district attorney's office wrote in a criminal complaint that Mr. Piccolo submitted 40 fraudulent invoices he claimed were for his daughter's medical treatment or for tax services already paid for by the bank holding the trust.

Mr. Piccolo, who did not have an attorney on file this afternoon, is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on July 19.
