Beaver County Coroner rules man killed by train committed suicide

The Beaver County Coroner has ruled that man who was fatally struck by a train in Beaver Falls on Tuesday committed suicide.

The train conductor saw the man, identified as 34-year-old Joseph Bailey, step in front of the train near the intersection of 11th Street and First Avenue at around 5:15 p.m., Coroner Teri Tatalovich-Rossi said.

Mr. Bailey was a resident at Smith's Personal Care Home in Beaver Falls.
