A train hit a car early this morning at the Boswell Oil Crossing in the 700 block of Washington Street (Route 837) in Dravosburg, closing the roadway and the rail line for several hours.

A woman's car was stuck on the tracks before 5 a.m., but she jumped from the vehicle and was not injured, KDKA-TV reported.

The Norfolk Southern train was fully loaded with coal when the crash occurred on the northern end of the town along the Monongahela River.
