A South Fayette woman was sentenced to 31/2 to 7 years in jail on Monday after she pleaded guilty to drunk driving and killing two brothers in a car accident last year.

Stormy Lynn Hunter, 19, pleaded guilty to two counts of homicide by vehicle, two counts of aggravated assault by vehicle, driving under the influence as a minor, reckless driving and driving at an unsafe speed in an accident on Interstate 79 in North Strabane in February 2011.

State police said Hunter was intoxicated when she crashed her SUV into the rear of a sedan, killing driver Nikolas Mercolini, 65, and his brother, Alex Mercolini Jr., 78.
