Woman dies after ATV crash in South Fayette

A woman died Sunday evening after crashing an ATV in South Fayette, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office said.
Lauren Geiger, 22, of McDonald, was riding in a wooded area near Maude Mine Road when she slammed into a tree at around 7:55 p.m. She was taken to St. Clair Hospital, where she was pronounced dead an hour later.
An autopsy is scheduled for today.
South Fayette and Allegheny County police are investigating.
