Here's a sampling of regional summer theaters with productions scheduled into September. Some seasons began earlier this month and others run as late as December (check websites for more information).

Founded in 1939, it is Pennnsylvania's oldest professional stock theater and among only 12 professional summer stock theaters in the U.S.

• Saint Vincent Theatre -- Performing Arts Center, St. Vincent College, Route 30, Latrobe; 724-537-8900. "Forever Plaid" (through June 9); "Suite Surrender" (June 14-30); "The Foreigner" (July 5-21); "The Chief" (July 26-Aug. 19). Founded 1969.
