Teen suspect sought in shooting of Fayette County boy, 6

State police were searching Tuesday night for a 16-year-old boy accused of shooting a 6-year-old boy at a Fayette County housing complex.
Deago Eddings, of Uniontown, has been charged as an adult with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and a firearms violation in the shooting of a young boy at the Hunters Ridge complex in Redstone, state police said.
Emergency dispatchers received a call shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday for a report that a child had been shot. Medics took the boy to Uniontown Hospital and he was then flown to another medical facility. KDKA-TV reported a family members as saying the boy was in critical condition.
State police in Belle Vernon are asking anyone with information about Deago's whereabouts to call them at 724-929-6262. Deago was last spotted wearing black shorts and black-and-red Air Jordan shoes.
