CLASSES
Jefferson Hills -- Allegheny County Penn State Master Gardeners programs will be held in the community room of Jefferson Hills Municipal Center, 925 Old Clairton Road. FISH FRY
McKeesport -- St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 220 Eighth St., will host a fish fry from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. each Friday during Lent.
Carnegie -- The Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 32 will hold its fish fry, including baked cod and baked potatoes, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Ukrainian-American Citizens Clubs, 302 Mansfield Blvd.
FOOD
Carrick -- St. Piux X Byzantine Catholic Church, 2336 Brownsville Road, will hold the final day of its Lenten pierogie sale from noon to 6 p.m. Friday. Prices: $7-10 per dozen. Advance orders: 412-881-8344.
FUNDRAISERS
Baldwin Borough -- The South Baldwin Volunteer Fire Company will hold two fundraisers at the South Baldwin Social Hall, 5311 McAnnulty Road. A mattress sale fundraiser will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. A model railroad show and sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 13.
Bridgeville -- The 15th annual Curves food drive will continue through Saturday to benefit the Bridgeville Area Food Bank. Donations, including cereal, tuna, peanut butter and rice, and monetary contributions, can be dropped off from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. today, 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at 3249 Washington Pike.
Jefferson Hills -- An Easter version of the "Late Night Catechism Series" will be performed at 7 p.m. April 5 at St. Thomas A'Becket, 139 Gill Hall Road. Admission: $30. Tickets are on sale in the church office and after Masses in March. Proceeds fund the church building campaign.
