ART

Clairton -- Local artists interested in having their work displayed in the Clairton Library Spring Art Show and Sale should leave their name and number at the main desk of the library, 616 Miller Ave. No entry fee.

CHILDREN

Elizabeth Borough -- Mon River Arts will hold auditions for The Petite Player production of the Disney musical "The Little Mermaid" from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and Wednesday. Children ages 10 to 13 should prepare a Broadway song and bring sheet music to the Grand Theatre, 207 S. Second Ave.

CLASSES

Jefferson Hills -- Allegheny County/Penn State Master Gardeners programs will be held in the community room of Jefferson Hills Municipal Center, 925 Old Clairton Road. A class on pruning trees, shrubs and perennials will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 21 and April 25. Register at the library's front desk, www.jeffersonhillslibrary.org or 412-655-7741. Scott -- The Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh-South Hills, 345 Kane Blvd., will offer a new prenatal yoga class at 1 p.m. Saturdays from March 2 to April 6. FISH FRY

McKeesport -- St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 220 Eighth St., will host a fish fry from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. each Friday during Lent.

Carnegie -- The Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 32 will hold its fish fry, including baked cod and baked potatoes, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Friday and March 1, 8, 15 and 22 at the Ukrainian-American Citizens Clubs, 302 Mansfield Blvd.

FITNESS

Jefferson Hills -- A Zumba fitness class will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays through March 12 at Jefferson Hills Public Library, 925 Old Clairton Road. Cost: $5 per class.

FUNDRAISERS

Bridgeville -- The Mansfield 5 and the Four Townsmen will perform at the third annual fundraising concert by the nonprofit South Fayette Foundation for Excellence at 7 p.m. March 2 at the SNPJ Lodge 6, 540 Third Ave. The foundation raises money for teacher grants, student scholarships, instructional supplies, technology and equipment for the South Fayette School District. Mt. Lebanon -- The Mt. Lebanon Band Builders will host its 18th annual A Taste of Italy Spaghetti Dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. March 2 at the Mt. Lebanon High School cafeteria, 155 Cochran Road. Tickets: $9 for adults, $5 for children younger than 10. To purchase tickets: at the door or from band members in advance. Proceeds will defray the cost of a band trip.

Whitehall -- Dance Workshop by Shari will hold a Go Red Zumba-thon from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Shoppes at Caste Village, Suite M-101, at Baptist and Grove roads. PERFORMANCES

Bethel Park -- The "One Voice" Christian Vocal Ensemble, directed by David F. Pressau, will present the 21st season Lent concert at 7 p.m. March 24 at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 2999 Bethel Church Road. The concert is free and the public is welcome.

Elizabeth Borough -- Mon River Arts will present the comedic play "The Nerd" at the Grand Theatre, 207 S. Second Ave., with performances at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and March 1-2 and at 2 p.m. Sunday and March 3. Pleasant Hills -- The Pleasant Hills Lions Club is searching for vendors for its farmers market to be held from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Thursdays, May 16 through Oct. 27, in the parking lot of Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church, 199 Old Clairton Road. South Side -- Three Rivers Quilters will host its 2013 Quilt Show from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 21, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 22 and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 23 at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Circuit Center, 5 Hot Metal St. The event will include quilting demonstrations and a sewing and craft-related flea market. West Newton -- The West Newton Senior Center will host a casino trip to Wheeling, W.Va., on April 3 for $22.
