Clairton -- Local artists interested in being part of the Clairton Library Spring Art Show and Sale can leave their name and phone number at the main desk of the library, 616 Miller Ave. No entry fee is required to exhibit work.

Pleasant Hills -- Yoga classes for ages 3 to 6 will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays, starting next Wednesday through Feb. 27, at Pleasant Hills Public Library, 302 Old Clairton Road. Baldwin Borough -- An eight-week beginner course in tai chi will be taught by Gurney Bolster from 10 to 11 a.m. Mondays, Jan. 14 to March 4, at Baldwin Borough Public Library, 41 Macek Drive. Bethel Park -- Christ United Methodist Church, 44 Highland Road, will hold a series of four exercise classes to start the new year. Two general exercise classes will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Jan. 15. A course on the basics of yoga will be held at 7 p.m. Jan. 22 and one on exercise and cardiac disease will be held at 7 p.m. Jan. 29. Information: 412-835-6621.
Jefferson Hills -- An eight-week Zumba fitness class will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 22 through March 12, at Jefferson Hills Public Library, 925 Old Clairton Road. Tuition: $5 per class.
Mt. Lebanon -- Mt. Lebanon Public Library will host a beer-and-chili fundraiser called Brews for a Chili Night III from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at the library, 16 Castle Shannon Blvd. Admission: $30. Tickets: on sale at library's front desk; not available at the door. Admission includes complimentary beers from two dozen craft brewers, cider, soft drinks, homemade chili, snacks and deserts. Musical entertainment by Cello Fury. All proceeds support programs and materials at the library.
Bethel Park -- Christ United Methodist Church, 44 Highland Road, will hold a session called Celebrate Recovery to help people who are struggling with "hurts, habits and hang-ups" at 7 p.m. Jan. 28. Information: 412-835-6621.

McMurray Road, will hold a free session for college-bound seniors and their parents on how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 22. Space is limited. Whitehall -- The Autism Society of Pittsburgh will hold its first parent support group and discussion meeting for parents and adult caregivers at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Whitehall Public Library, 100 Borough Park Drive. Starting in February, the group will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at the library. Registration not required.

Bethel Park -- The Southwestern Pennsylvania Registered Nurses Club will hear a U.S. Air Force nurse speak about her experiences at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 15 at Hamilton Presbyterian Church, 4500 Baptist Road.
Peters -- A teen book club will discuss "City of Bones" by Cassandra Clare from noon to 12:45 p.m. Saturday at Peters Township Public Library, 616 E. McMurray Road.
