CHILDREN

Dormont -- The Dormont Farmers Market will be open 4 to 7 p.m. every Monday through October in the parking lot of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church at West Liberty and Alabama avenues.

Nottingham -- A "Firefly Frolic and Campfire" will be held at 8 p.m. July 11 at Shelter 2 in Mingo Creek County Park, with firefly catching and marshmallow roasting. Preregistration required: 724-228-6867.

Upper St. Clair -- The Western Pennsylvania Mushroom Club will present a slide show on mushrooms and hold a walk from 9 a.m. to noon July 28 at Boyce-Mayview Park's Outdoor Classroom, 1571 Mayview Road. Bring mushrooms from home for identification. Cost: $15 or $10 for mushroom club members with current membership cards.
