Bethel Park -- Bethel Park Public Library will be host to Mother Goose Storytime for children ages 18 months to 2 1/2 years old at 10 a.m. Wednesday and continuing each Wednesday during February.
Nottingham -- The Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation will hold an outdoor classroom next Thursday in Mingo Creek County Park for homeschooled children ages 5 to 11 to teach them about how animals survive the winter. Upper St. Clair -- St. Louise de Marillac Parish, 320 McMurray Road, will offer a six-week adult faith formation series titled "The Bible and the Mass" starting at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 27. Washington -- The Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation will offer a Needle and Yarn Craft Workshop at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Citizens Library, 55 S. College St. Bring one skein of yarn in a color of your choice and a size 6 crochet hook. Cost: $1. Reservations: 724-228-6867.
Bethel Park -- The HonorBound Men's Ministry of South Hills Assembly will hold a free men's fellowship breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. Feb. 11 at the church complex, 2725 Bethel Church Road. All men invited. More information: 412-835-8900 or www.southhillsassembly.org.
California -- Cub Scout Pack No. 1423 will hold a spaghetti dinner from 1 to 6 p.m. March 3 at California United Methodist Church, Third and Liberty streets. Tickets: $5 for seniors, $6 for adults and $3.50 for ages 12 and younger.
Bethel Park -- The annual Police Pal/Steelers basketball game will be held at 8 p.m. March 16 in Bethel Park High School gymnasium. Pre-game festivities start at 6 p.m. Cost: $7 in advance, $9 at the door. Tickets are on sale at Evey Hardware in Bethel Park, Eat'n Park on Route 88 and the police records room at 5100 West Library Ave. Proceeds fund the Sgt. Charles Bonczek/Bethel Park Police Association college scholarships.
