South Park man sentenced in oxycodone conspiracy

The leader of a ring that sold oxycodone pills on the street was sentenced Wednesday to 14 years in prison.
Brian David Wolfe, 38, of South Park, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to sell oxycodone, a powerful prescription narcotic. He and his wife, Shannon Houston Wolfe, 36, recruited addicts to go to pharmacies with fake prescriptions for the drug.
They were among 10 people indicted for involvement in the conspiracy in June 2011 by U.S. Attorney David J. Hickton's office.
The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge Gustave Diamond and also includes three years of post-release probation.
His wife was sentenced last week to 11 years in prison.
