Emma Kraus, a student at Paynter Elementary in the Baldwin-Whitehll School District, has had artwork published on holiday cards sent by Edgar Snyder & Associates this season. Emma was selected as a winner of the 9th "My Holiday Wish" Coloring Contest sponsored by the firm. She was awarded a $100 gift card. Her design features mistletoe and ornaments hanging above the word "peace."
The design was selected by judges Ashley Andrykovitch of the Carnegie Museum of Art; Tamara Pavlock of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh; and Myrna Rosen of CMU and the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts; and Kristi Schaefer and Scott Wallace, both of swz design.
The law firm received more than 700 entries and, in addition to Emma, four other students were recognized for their submissions.
