Rep. Murphy to chair energy subcommittee

U.S. Rep. Tim Murphy was appointed on Wednesday to chair a subcommittee within the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.

The Upper St. Clair Republican said he was "honored" to serve as chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight & Investigation.

Mr. Murphy was appointed to serve on the House Energy & Commerce Committee in 2005 and has served as vice-chairman of the subcommittees on Environment and Economy and Health.
