Police seek Subway robber in Castle Shannon

Castle Shannon police are looking for a man who robbed a Subway store about 3 p.m. today.

The suspect was seen peering in the front window of the restaurant at 4136 Library Road.

He waited until the customers left and then walked in with a gun, ordered the clerk to open the cash drawer and fled with bills and coins, police said.

He was last seen heading north across the parking lot toward Rockwood Avenue.

Police said the man is taller than 6 feet and wore some kind of mask in addition to a black hat, a large black hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses and black gloves.
