Police investigate Clairton shooting

Police are investigating a shooting in Clairton this evening.
An emergency dispatch supervisor said a male was shot in the 6700 block of McKinley Court just after 7 p.m.
Clairton police said they believe the victim was a juvenile and that he was transported by ambulance to UPMC Mercy. Details on the location of his injuries or his condition were not immediately available.
The case has been turned over to the Allegheny County Police homicide unit.
