Missing Castle Shannon woman 'endangered,' police say

A Castle Shannon woman police described as "endangered" has been missing since about 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Family told police Joan Lynn Meissonier, 59, isn't carrying her medication, her purse or ID with her and said she wanted to live on the streets, according a borough police press release.

She is 5 feet 5, weighs 120 pounds, has green eyes and dark brown shoulder-length hair. She may be wearing tennis shoes and a black winter coat.

Castle Shannon police asked anyone with information on her whereabouts to call 412-473-3056.
