The Allegheny County medical examiner's office identified the boy as Emmanuel White, 16, of McKeesport.

Police said the victim, who lived in the Harrison Village housing project, was shot on the corner of Craig Street and Brownlee Street near the Crawford Village housing project in McKeesport at 8:10 p.m. Thursday.

Police are investigating the possibility that the shooting is connected to an ongoing feud between residents in the two developments.
