McKeesport shooting victim dies

A 23-year-old man shot multiple times Thursday night in the hallway of a McKeesport apartment building has died.
The Allegheny County medical examiner's office identified the man as Jesse Thornton of McKeesport.
County homicide Lt. Andrew Schurman has said Thornton was not a resident of Hi View Garden Apartments in the 700 block of Sixth Avenue, where officers found him about 11 p.m. outside Apartment 307 of Building 733. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and was hospitalized in critical condition. He died Tuesday.
Allegheny County police homicide detectives and McKeesport police are investigating.
