A Monroeville man was found guilty of first-degree murder Friday for a fatal shooting in Duquesne in 2010.

Henry Culver, 55, was accused of killing Scott Goodman, 46, on Dec. 14, 2010, at his home in the 800 block of Catherine Street.

Prosecutors say Mr. Goodman was shot to death over a $7 debt he owed Mr. Culver, who had given him a ride as a jitney.

Mr. Culver will be sentenced by Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey A. Manning on Dec. 11.

He faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison with no chance of parole on the murder count.

Mr. Culver was arrested in Miami, Fla., where he had fled after the shooting. He was working as a barber and living in a mission under an alias when he was arrested in June 2011.
