Man, 19, shot in North Braddock

A 19-year-old man was shot in North Braddock this afternoon, police said.
North Braddock police said the man was shot on the 200 block of Hawkins Avenue shortly before 2 p.m. The man's name and condition were not immediately available.
A friend drove the boy to the Swissvale Police Department, and he was then transported to UPMC Presbyterian, police said.
