Older adults can learn more about healthy aging at the Elder Expo Fair tomorrow at Life-Span's New Traditions Senior Resource Center at 627 Market St., McKeesport.

The fair, open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., will offer health screenings and information on nutrition, massage and other topics. It's being sponsored by the Mc-Keesport Healthier Communities Partnership with the Center for Healthy Aging at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health.

Information will be given about the 10 keys to healthy aging and the successful community ambassadors program, which empowers older adults to educate others in their community about those keys. The 10 keys are a set of scientifically proven rules that older adults can follow to lead a healthier lifestyle. They are maintaining social contacts, combating depression, increasing physical activity, stopping smoking, preventing bone loss, participating in cancer screenings, getting regular immunizations, lowering LDL cholesterol, controlling systolic blood pressure and regulating blood glucose.

For registration or other information, call 412-664-5434. Free parking will be available in the Sixth Street Garage.
