A three-vehicle crash on the outbound Parkway West was causing major delays during this morning's rush.

The crash occurred around 7:45 a.m. just past the Parkway Center exit. Two city paramedic units were dispatched to the scene. Two people were injured; one taken to UPMC Mercy, one to Allegheny General. There is no word yet on their conditions.

The accident was cleared before 8:30 a.m., but at 8:15, traffic had backed up through the Fort Pitt Tunnels and over the Fort Pitt Bridge, spilling back to the Parkway East and Fort Duquesne Bridge.
