Baldwin Borough man held in wife's killing

A Baldwin Borough man has been charged with fatally shooting his wife Sunday morning.

Benjamin Conway Jr., 31, is at an undisclosed hospital with self-inflicted wounds, according to police.

Police said Kimberly Jo Conway, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooting occurred at the couple's home on Meadowcrest Road following a domestic dispute, police said.

Police said Mr. Conway was disarmed by a relative who was present at the time. The shooting occurred at 1:50 a.m.

Mr. Conway is charged with a single count of criminal homicide.

Police said no other details will be released at this time.
