A $3.7 million improvement project on Warrendale Bayne Road in Marshall will resume today, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions between the Interstate 79 northbound off-ramp and Harmony Road starting at about 9 a.m. and continuing around the clock through mid-August.

PennDOT said the project, which began in August, will bring "significant improvements for the traveling public on Warrendale Bayne Road between Route 19 and Brush Creek Road," including widening, resurfacing and upgraded signals. The project includes improving the I-79 off-ramp and the intersections of Innovation Drive and Warrendale Bayne Road and Route 19 and Thorn Hill Road.
