Woman killed in crash on Route 28 identified

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office has identified the woman killed this afternoon in a crash on Route 28.
Patricia Maritto, 77, of Leechburg, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred at about 4:30 p.m. near exit 10 on Route 28 northbound. Another passenger in the vehicle was taken to a local hospital. There is no word on that passenger's condition.
