Two hurt in incident at New Castle tavern

New Castle police are investigating an incident that resulted in two people being injured, but not by gunfire.
An emergency dispatcher said shots were fired outside the Capitol Grill tavern at about 1 a.m. Sunday and two people were transported to the Jameson Hospital in New Castle. But the victims had not been shot.
The dispatcher had no information on the exact nature of the injuries.
Capitol Grill is located on North Mercer Street.
