Three charged with DUI by North Hills roving patrols.

Three drivers were arrested for driving under the influence and 23 were cited for various motor vehicle code violations overnight as the North Hills DUI Task Force conducted two roving patrols.

The patrols, conducted in Shaler, Etna, O'Hara, Indiana, and West Deer, also resulted in one person each arrested for drug possession and underage drinking. In all, 111 vehicles were stopped.

This is the 17th year for the North Hills DUI Task Force which has conducted a total of 158 checkpoints/roving patrols resulting in 710 arrests for driving under the influence.

The North Hills DUI Task Force is comprised of police officers from Etna, Indiana, Northern Regional, O'Hara, Ross, Shaler, West Deer and West View.
