Police on Wednesday arrested three more men in connection with the beating death of a Butler County man in a street fight outside a Kittanning bar last weekend.
State police said Otilio Cosme, 43, of Ford City, Keith Allen Brison, 32, of Kittanning, and Anthony Michael Bove, 18, also of Ford City, are each charged with homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment in the death of James Sullivan, 39, of Chicora.
On Monday, state troopers charged Dennis Rosenberger, 27, with simple and aggravated assault in Mr. Sullivan's death.
Authorities said Mr. Sullivan got into a fight with Mr. Rosenberger on Montieth Street around 2 a.m. Police said Mr. Rosenberger hit Mr. Sullivan in the face, after which Mr. Sullivan fell and struck his head on the pavement.
State police said the other three suspects then either kicked or jumped on Mr. Sullivan while he lay unconscious on the ground. Police said the trauma to Mr. Sullivan's chest and abdomen was responsible for his death.
Mr. Cosme, Mr. Brison and Mr. Bove are being held without bond at the Armstrong County Jail. Mr. Rosenberger remains jailed on $50,000 bond.
