Student artwork on display
Artwork from Quaker Valley students who are members of Studio Life, a visual arts-based afterschool program offered to middle-schoolers, will be on exhibit from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at 429 Broad St.
The program, under the direction of art teacher Jeff Evancho, uses visual art to develop critical thinking skills, expression, creativity, and leadership development.
The exhibit will feature artwork by high school students who are mentors in the program and other select students.
The exhibit, which will be managed by artist Alessandra Crivelli, a 2012 Quaker Valley High School graduate, also will feature music from violinist Matt Pickart.
