Saxonburg Boulevard to close Monday for more slide repairs

A second landslide will cause another closure of Saxonburg Boulevard in West Deer starting Monday, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.

The road will close at 6 a.m. between Bakerstown-Culmerville and Henry roads and remain closed until Dec. 21. PennDOT completed an earlier slide repair in that area in October.

The detour is via Bakerstown-Culmerville Road, Route 8 and Route 228.
