Rt. 28 to close again this weekend; ramp closure delayed

The closure of the outbound Route 28 off-ramp to Millvale scheduled for today has been postponed, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.

The ramp is now slated to close at 7 a.m. Monday and remain closed around the clock through late October for repairs. Traffic will be detoured using the Sharpsburg exit and Bridge Street to turn around and reach Millvale from inbound Route 28.

PennDOT also announced that the inbound side of Route 28 will be closed at the Millvale interchange again this weekend.

Traffic will be detoured using the Millvale off- and on-ramps from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
