Southbound Route 65 was closed in Glen Osborne this morning after a driver lost control of his vehicle, struck a pole and flipped it onto its side.

The vehicle crashed about 6:40 a.m., Sewickley police Chief Jim Ersher said. The driver was taken to a hospital but appeared to be conscious and alert.

"It wasn't as bad as it could have been," he said. "The big issue was traffic."

The road reopened shortly before 8:30 a.m.
